Participating Scholarship Programs

~ Step Up For Students - Corporate Tax Credit Scholarship ~

This is an income based scholarship available for any student entering Kindergarten or First grade, or who spent the last academic year in a public school. Any family in the state may apply for the scholarships which are income based and regulated through the State (http://www.stepupforstudents.org/).  If qualified, you are awarded up to $4011.00 per child for the 2011/2012 school year and they hope to raise the amount awarded for the 2012/2013 year.

**the website opens for the next school year for renewing families in February  and to new families in March. These are awarded on a 1st come/1st served basis-Please do not delay as their funds are limited!

~ The McKay Scholarship ~

The McKay scholarship is a disability scholarship awarded through the public school system (http://www.floridaschoolchoice.org/) and they set the award amount; which generally exceeds our Enrollment costs.  We accept this scholarship on a limited basis depending upon the specifics of the student’s academic needs.

~ FAST ~

The FAST scholarship is an income based scholarship that operates in connection with ACSI. Please contact the Academy office for their contact information. After all of your information is submitted  and processed, a recommendation for scholarship amount is sent to the Academy for review. Funds are issued based on demonstrated need, as well as attendance, academic and financial records. Scholarships are granted dependent upon the availability of funds. Despite a strong commitment to our financial assistance program, each year the number of students who qualify for assistance is more than we can fully support. OCA seeks to distribute evenly to all those who show a need.

~ Ministry Scholarship ~

We offer an in-house scholarship of 30% on tuition costs for all Ministers serving Full-Time on staff in local Okeechobee area ministries.
