Tuition and Fees
2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR
Registration Fee - A non-refundable Registration fee must accompany a completed "Registration Packet" of each student enrolling at OCA. The registration fee is paid one time per year at the time of registration, and is required for each child enrolled, regardless of the date of enrollment. The Registration Fee includes agenda, plastic envelope, yearbook, student on-campus accident insurance, SAT Testing materials and scoring, and textbooks.
Tuition Payment Frequency - Ten Installments (due July 1st through April 1st)
Referral Credit – If one of our families refers another family to us and the new family enrolls for the school year, the referring family will receive a month's tuition credit.
Full Tuition Discount - A $100.00 discount will be given if the entire annual tuition is paid in full by July 1st.
Multiple Child Discount (same family, students currently enrolled) – A $200 discount will be given to the tuition of each additional child enrolled after the first.

K5 and Seniors also have a graduation fee of $35.
Lunch - May be ordered through the Academy lunch menu or brought from home or delivered by parents; Friday is pizza day. Pizza may be purchased for $1.00 per slice, drink and ice cream for $.50 each.
Snacks - no snacks will be provided by OCA during the school day; all snacks are to be provided from home or may be purchased from our snack machine before school begins. Please note certain restrictions (sugared or candied) apply during normal school hours.
Extended Care Information (optional)
Extended Care is available from 12:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Pre-K 12:00-5:30 p.m. $5.00 per day
K-5 and up 3:10-5:30 p.m. $4.00 per day
Our Extended Care hours end at 5:30 p.m. If your child is not picked up by an authorized person indicated on the Emergency Card by 5:30 p.m., a flat rate of $25.00 will be charged and an additional rate of $2.00 per minute thereafter. Please respect our staff’s family time by picking your child up by 5:30 p.m. Your cooperation and support is appreciated.
General Information
Registration Refunds: The Registration fee is NON-refundable.
Late Payment: Tuition is billed on the 1st of each month. On the 10th of the month, any unpaid balance will be assessed a $25.00 late fee. All past due charges added to the monthly statement will be subject to late fees.
Returned checks: There is a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.
Delinquent Accounts: Accounts that remain delinquent after 2nd week of the month shall be scheduled for a meeting with the School Board (or their representative) to set up payment arrangements. If an account is not current by the end of the month and if there are no arrangements on file, this will result in automatic withdrawal of the student and the delinquent account being submitted to a collections agency, or small claims court. Exemptions to this must be approved by the School Board.
Student Records: It is the policy of OCA not to release any student records (health records being exempt by law) until all financial obligations to OCA are met.
Uniform Policy: The Uniform Policy shall be strictly enforced. Any student arriving at school out of uniform will have their parent called from the office to come and provide him/her a uniform. Violations may result in a meeting with the Board to determine enrollment status.
Tuition Increase: OCA reserves the right to review and adjust the scheduled tuition and financial policies upon 30 day written notice as is necessary for maintaining a quality educational program.
Fundraisers: OCA holds fundraisers throughout the year to help defray the cost of operating a full service educational institution. Tuition alone cannot meet the costs of payroll, utilities, building expenses, supplies, insurance, etc. Raising additional capital helps us to continue providing a quality education for your child. Your participation and support during these critical events mean so much to your child’s educational experience here at OCA and allows us to offer you a low tuition rate. We ask all parents to pray and be as involved and supportive as possible in our fundraising efforts.
